Nail's background in music stretches back a decade and includes stints in record shops and productions on DIY, Warp and Classic. Simon originally aimed for a career in design whilst producing sample-friendly loops for music libraries. The two synth enthusiasts united in their love of bad records (they have more Mantovani records than your dad, trust us) and a desire to make approachable, happy dance music. Their sublime debut album 'Programmed To Love' was released in '00 and its follow-up, 'The Everlasting Blink', was released in March of this year. Bent have toured the UK as DJs and with a full live band.
