After putting roots down in London over a decade ago, Alex Celler is now an ingrained member of the local party network regularly spinning here in our space and at a multitude of venues all around the city. As a producer his work has landed on Jay Haze's highly respected Contexterrior Tuning Spork as well as Baby Ford's Trelik labels showing that the man has backing from two of the underground house scene's most respected individuals. Thing is though, he also has an impressively idiosyncratic record collection to back it up. A dedicated crate digger Celler's constructed a sound that we are huge fans of so we asked himto record an exclusive mix ahead of his set in Room One this coming Saturday night where he is set to join Craig Richards, Sonja Moonear and Fumiya Tanaka in Room One - a booking which we think perfectly shows off the range and sophistication of his collection and the way he plays.
