Audio: Inland Knights Giveaway

Bourne out of true soundsystem culture, the Nottingham based duo of Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie aka as Inland Knights, blossomed during the mid 90's at the Smokescreen events. As part of a crew of DJs, sound engineers and lighting technicians, they took their rave formula anywhere they could, taking over woodlands or dis-used quarries as much as they did night clubs, offering up their loyal following the chance to party hard, and for free. Since those days (the duo made the leap into production around '98) Riley and Ritchie have cast their deep and funky mark on house music perfectly, starting, staffing and smashing their own Drop Music imprint as well as releasing records on respected lables like 2020 Vision and Om Records. With the Drop Music label now in its 12th year, Riley and Ritchie are releasing a compilation called Inland Bites: Knights Classics which amasses 14 tracks that have previously only been released on labels outside of Drop Music. Collating tracks from previous releases on labels like Amenti, Siesta, So Sound, Panhandle and the afore mentioned 2020 Vision several of the tracks have never been made available digitally before; but they're here, all neatly remastered and packaged alongside a brand new unreleased track, 'Don't Need No One.' Ahead of the duo's date here this Saturday they've passed us a free download of the brand new track to forward onto you, oh readers of our blog. So go ahead, grab the track by clicking on the picture below: Catch Inland Knights in Room Three for the Drop Music takeover which also features Fred Everything and Da Sunlounge, this Saturday night.
