Audio: Listen to Taxman’s frantic D&B session

It’s difficult to talk about Dominic Tindill, the drum & bass artist better known as Taxman, without mentioning his brother Adam. While Adam was putting out his first D&B tunes as one half of G Dub, Dominic was just beginning to take in interest in production, learning the basics through watching his brother’s regular studio sessions. Adam then signed Dominic’s track The Rebate to his label Propaganda, where Dominic would continue releasing music on throughout the start of his career. While Adam’s since forged an illustrious solo career under the alias Original Sin, Dominic’s become a dominant force of his own as Taxman, with both artists among the leading names on DJ Hype and Pascal’s coveted Playaz roster. In the studio and behind the decks, Taxman represents the classic Playaz sound: moody, energetic jungle and drum & bass that’s guaranteed to fire up any dancefloor. He presents the same frantic playing style on his mix for us, recorded ahead of his appearance alongside Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Crissy Criss, and, unsurprisingly, Original Sin, at FABRICLIVE this Friday.
