Back in June of last year we introduced you to a drum & bass duo called Need For Mirrors, a collaboration between producers Mosus and HLZ. They impacted on our world first by the inclusion of two of their tracks on Zero T’s FABRICLIVE 52 mix. Since then though they’ve continued their frankly astonishing pace releasing a constant slew of productions on labels like Symmetry, Footprints, Dispatch and Zoltar. Ahead of their return to Farringdon on the 27th December for the Playaz annual Christmas throwdown they’ve put together a 33 minute display of new sounds. It features a whole heap of new music from them; in fact you might notice that 3 of the duo’s original tracks included here are tagged ‘Metalheadz dub’, a pointer which corresponds to their four track ‘Methxx EP’ forthcoming in mid January.
