Even though the UK born Roberto started DJing in the year 2000 at the ripe age of 16, it wasn’t for another 9 years he decided techno was his way forward. His local parties under the Kai Zen banner in home town of Hitchin went off in style and it wasn’t long before he moved them up to London town and firmly installed himself as a party regular. He’s not just a DJ and party maker, his hard work has seen release on outfits like Artform, Outland and Affin Records over the last few years, and he’s been remixed by Steve Rachmad with full support flowing in from all the big guys. We’re looking forward to welcoming Roberto to Farringdon on the 17th December alongside two more of the UK’s bastions of techno, Surgeon and James Ruskin, as well as for the live debut of Dubliner Fran Hartnett. Stylistically Roberto’s techno sound is robust - heavy grooves with Detroit’s softening synths, goes some way to summarise it verbally, but you can get a clearer audio-logical picture from his fabric Promo Mix.
