Marking the Autonomic clique's ascension to Room Two, this Friday rounds off what has been a prosperous year for the trio of dBridge, Damon Drama and Al Bleek (aka Instra:mental). Kicking off 2010 with FABRICLIVE 50, a cinematic and stylish mission statement, set out like one of the crews infamous podcasts, the rest of the months have been filled with far flung bookings, gallons of fresh material under old and new guises and brand new record labels.
Having kicked off the Autonomic label with collaboration tracks between the core trio and Skream, they followed with work by Riya and Distance, extending their pallette and direction a touch offering producers the opportunity to experiment with the drum and bass tempo. Returning early next year with a 4th release, another collaborative 12" between the three producers on Autonomic, a 2CD compilation on dBridge's Exit Music label, featuring producers like Indigo, Stray, ASC and Consequence and reams of fresh music, 2011 is looking to be just as full for the crew.
As if inviting dutch production machine, 2562 and Swamp81 boss Loefah, alongside Commix, Cooly G and Indigo down to Farringdon to this Friday for their debut Room Two takeover wasn't enough, the powerhouse triplet are offering fabric Blog readers the opportunity to scoop themselves some exclusive vinyl for the price of an email. They're generously offering up NOMIC001 which features the 'Arcadia Avenue' collaboration with Skream, NOMIC003 by Distance and an upfront test pressing of NOMIC004 - featuring their 'From The Start' and 'Detuned' tracks - which wont see a release until early next year. Oh and to match their offer, we're chucking in a copy of their FABRICLIVE CD to boot!
