Sonar is our jam. Undoubtedly one of the best festivals on the whole global timetable, the Spanish festival is a must on any electronic music festival’s calendar. Held in Barcelona, at two different locations for the day and night performances, it strives to unite all forms of electronic music under its banner and for the last few years its positively excelled in that vein.
Showcasing the diversity and precise and open booking policy Sonar are this year, treating all comers to a succinct taste of what they do and on the 19th March, the 2011 edition of the festival launches in London, at Camden’s Roundhouse. A Taste of Sonar harbours performances from fabric Records own Buraka Som Sistema, The Gaslamp Killer, MJ Cole, Benji B, Axel Bowman and Braiden amongst others.
