Eyeballin': Andres - Live Stream Dec 29th 2011

What with Eglo’s 3rd Birthday coming up on Thursday 8th March, we thought we’d drop you a little bit of music from the event’s special guest, Andres. A Detroit native, he was the DJ in influential hip hop trio Slum Village and as a producer he continues to release music on labels like Moodymann’s Mahogani Music imprint, that blurs the lines between genre conventions. Whether it’s slow tempoed or four to the four, his music just screams that Detroit mentality of anything goes so long as it works musically. As an aside does these live streams broadcasts where he plays what he wants for as long as he wants. They’ve been the soundtrack to the office ever since he got confirmed for the show weeks ago so we thought we’d share a particularly pertinent episode with you now, to give you a timely reminder about his upcoming show.
