Eyeballin': Thundercat - Walkin'

It's nice to be able to announce an event with a leading piece of content. So, aside from his astounding fusion displayed on 'The Golden Age of The Apocalypse' album which he released last year on Brainfeeder, Thundercat just went and dropped a new video for 'Walkin'' yesterday which'll probably give you a bit more background into the humour and outlook that goes into his music. No more words, just watch... Thundercat headlines Hidden Depths, a series of events put on by Tiger Beer and Black Atlantic, on Wednesday 16th May in Room One. It's the second time ever he's performed live in the UK and it's the first ever headline show in this country from the bass prodigy himself and his band. The Hidden Depths series main goal is to explore and house the depths of some of the UK's most innovatie record labels, so for this landmark show Thundercat is supported by a cast of Ninja Tune associated artists (considering that he himself is Ninja associated as Brainfeeder is, like Big Dada, a sister label to the Ninja empire) that includes Floating Points, Slugabed and Offshore. More information on the event is available here. Tickets are £5 in advance and are available here.
