Rightfully labelled “Britain’s godfather of house and techno” by Mixmag, the not so ‘Evil’ Eddie Richards is one of those names that’s stuck like glue to the house and techno scene in the UK right from the beginning. Like it or not, the path towards being a talented DJ only appears through experience, something that Richards is in no short supply of. A long running ambassador for the UK’s dance music scene, he has always exercised an ambition to see the music evolve rather than the thickness of his wallet. He founded DY-NA-MIX booking agency which was responsible for bringing artists such as Richie Hawtin to the UK for the first time.

Eddie has been included in virtually every book, documentary and film about dance culture and is highly sought after all over the world for his flawless mixing of deep bass driven techno with soulful & tough house, a format he has always maintained, which has led him to be widely regarded as the pioneer of what is now known as ’tech-house’. He’s sent us over a deliciously uplifting mix, which he’s donated to a brand new podcast series, for all you fanatics to stick on repeat until his next gig at fabric on 7th November... we think it should tide you over nicely!
