Feed Your Stereo: Floorplan - Glory B

Earlier this year the minimalist master Robert Hood released what was, quite surprisingly, his first album as Floorplan. Aimed directly at the 4am dancefloor, the longplayer featured a ream of loop based constructions all dark in tone but light with house spirit. With its devastating effect on the senses it’s not surprising that Ben Klock picked out two tracks from the album to feature on his fabric 66 mix. And in that selection we’ve stumbled across the tenuous link between both these artists and their next journey here to Room Two where they will both be performing this December. Klock is a bit of a self -professed appreciator of Hood’s output and as far as where we stand on the matter, there aren’t many artists working on Hood’s level today. Period.
