Former music journalist from Leeds, Gavin Herlihy is landing in the DJ booth for the very first time this Saturday as we dovetail ourselves across a mind melting month of March lineups. As much of a head rush as it must be for Herlihy to drive our Room One system and steer his range of expertly executed house and techno, we too are poised to welcome an artist who has been busy carving out a fresh and recognizable sound for himself since 2006. His first release, ‘Machine Ate My Homework’, was crowned the track of that year amongst the likes of French techno kingpin, Laurent Garnier and elevated him to release on dominant labels of the scene such as Leftroom, whose chieftain Matt Tolfrey just so happens to be joining the party this Saturday. Starting of this year at an electric pace, he's just remixed the all-time house classic record ‘Let Me Show You Love’ by Romanthony in collaboration with rising starlet, Laura Jones.
