Feed Your Stereo: Slam - Old School Jams For The New Republic

Whilst we familiarised ourselves with Slam’s DJ mastery earlier this month with their warm up set for Josh Wink, we cant forget that the Soma pairing are also acclaimed for their studio work. Together they celebrated the 20 year long history their label last year and Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle’s latest release seems to enjoy looking back as much as forward with soaring synths that bring the vibe of that mid 90’s peak of hedonistic optimism. Entitled ‘Old School Jams For The New Republic’ this is actually the first new material from Slam that’s hit the internet in a long time and it’s something you can stream via the player below as we look ahead to their show in Room Two this Saturday.
