Anyone who followed drum & bass in 2012 should be aware of 'Oblique', the smash collaboration between Stray, Sabre and Halogenix which featured vocals Frank Carter III and found a release on Critical Recordings. Well, news leaked yesterday that the collabo wasn't just a one off and that the three producers are hitting the studio for a 14 day stint to produce material together under this new Ivy Lab moniker. Considering how far and wide 'Oblique' went, and the techniques the trio employed balancing the vocals with the atmospheric subtle keys and drum work it's a very exciting prospect and to mark their unison officially the trio are giving away a VIP version of Oblique via their facebook page ahead of their debut as Ivy Lab in Room Two tonight.
