NEWSFLASH: Our Guide To The #fabricis16 Weekend

Our favourite time of the year has arrived again with our birthday weekend set to commence in just a few (valuable) sleeps time. Starting the weekend this Friday night FABRICLIVE have Kurupt FM bringing their Champagne Steamrooms party banner to Room One while over in Room Two we’re set to see some optimal, prime drum & bass from Spor, Ed Rush & Optical and a mammoth cast of talents stepping up to the plate. We just want to emphasise here that even though we have sold out of our advance allocation of tickets for this FABRICLIVE leg of the celebration we only sell 50% of our capacity in advance so there will be plenty of tickets available on the door – just arrive as early as you can to ensure entry and avoid disappointment and or queues. The 30 hour session of music starts from Saturday night at 11pm, running non-stop until Monday morning – we’ll have been open continuously until 5.30am. And as the ticketing breakdown and general dress code is a little bit different from our usual policy here’s an outline of how it’s all going to work…

Tickets:

For the Saturday/Sunday leg of the party everybody will be given a wristband (that will allow you re-entry before 10pm on Sunday) which will allow you to nip out for a disco nap (something we’d definitely advise), quick shower or a Sunday lunch with the folks over in St Pauls… whatever. After 10pm on Sunday night, when you enter the venue these wristbands will be removed and there’ll be no re-entry after this time - obviously we’ll still be letting people in to the party (unless we happen to be running at capacity at that time). Unfortunately we cannot predict when it’ll be busy inside the venue and we cannot advise you when we think you will have to queue if you don’t have an advance ticket. This always fluctuates and there may well be points where you will have to queue even if you do have a wristband or advance ticket. Please also note that student and fabricfirst tickets are only available on the door. Advance tickets are still available here.

Sustenance:

East London pizza institution Voodoo Rays are back providing the rave fuel over the Sunday daytime leg of the party with their tasty NY inspired pizza slices. Keep an eye out this week for the full menu with some exclusive specials made just for us.

AND

With such a long session on our hands we want to remind you that we have a FREE water bar downstairs in Room One. So please remember to keep hydrated. We have on site medical staff. If at any point you feel unwell during your time with us please just make yourself known to one of our stewards or security staff and they will be happy to help you out.

Fancy Dress:

This is one of the only occasions that we allow and actively encourage party goers to engage in a bit of eccentric dressing activity. Come Sunday night we bring out the dressing up box for our artists and we’d like all of you to get involved. We’ve even teamed up with www.fancydress.com to give our guests 10% off all the leotards, wigs, hats, onesies and… erm morph suits for the brave. Set Times:

We’re sorry. We do not release our set times ahead of the party but there are a few helpful hints out there already that might aid your rave plans. Apollonia will be out in force in Room One come Sunday afternoon and we’ve just released the room break downs with a further reveal of where and when some of the artists are playing.
