Sancha Ndeko and Imbratura Lou are armed with an arsenal of deep dubs from producers that most people still don’t know about. The London-based duo share a disposition for dark dubstep, grime and other bass-driven styles sitting around the 140BPM territory, and over the last few years they’ve been on a mission to shine a spotlight on the sound’s unsung heroes. This is essentially the goal behind Sicaria Sound, the joint DJ project that’s seen them go from playing regularly on London radio to killing it behind the decks with Mala and his Deep Medi family. As with their shows on the airwaves and recorded mixes, their DJ sets are crafted with a nod to new producers pushing dubstep forwards, and with the launch of their own Cutcross label coming up later on this year, soon they’ll be putting out records with the trademark Sicaria rubber stamp. They’ll be showcasing their strain of heavyweight bass at FABRICLIVE too.
