Twitter can be an awkward thing, packed full of short sentences with users ask each other what they should eat for dinner whilst simultaneously posting unique ‘twitpics’ of them posing in suggestive guises, breathing new life into the vain as fuck ‘myspace profile photo’ of old. But the instant nature of relaying information is the one thing we’re addicted to Twitter for; its provided us with endless hours of listening, watching and reading… much like this morning when dubstep’s baby faced overlord Skream posted this little nugget:
This really is one of the most awe inspiring, time consuming, mind numbingly brilliant websites/projects we’ve stumbled across in a while. Basically it’s a bank of youtube videos of various performers playing a variety of instruments that you can launch at any interval and they will all play together, producing a completely unique piece of music.
Here’s the technoid skinny:
“In Bb 2.0 is a collaborative music and spoken word project conceived by Darren Solomon from Science for Girls, and developed with contributions from users. The videos can be played simultaneously -- the soundtracks will work together, and the mix can be adjusted with the individual volume sliders.”
