Last week, the burgeoning London talent Amy Becker (pictured) announced the release of her new compilation, Amy Becker TRX. Comprised of 15 tracks, the compilation, which will be released via new label, Reload on 18th May, not only features an arsenal of the kind of bass heavy, metropolitan fusion she's been known to champion, including tracks from artists she's been supporting via her BBC 1Xtra and Radar Radio shows, it's also representative of her genre-defying selection style. As she explained to online music portal FACT: "I don't have any rules when it comes to selecting music, so featuring tracks that embody a diverse range of genres was important to me". Though the album will only be available to stream, according to Becker there will be a limited edition print zine (available at selected record stores) which will included a download code for each track.
So to bump the release and of Amy's forthcoming set here next Friday, we not got our hands on the track 'Pisces' by Sinden (the closing track on the compilation) to premiere right here.
