If you live in London there’s a good chance you may have already seen Chak Besh play – having been a regular at parties like Keep On Going and Point., he’s already well climatised within London’s best loved Sunday parties. If you’re still yet to discover him though, you might recognise the mix of minimal and deep house he plays frequently pushed by these underground happenings. Besh grew up in Berlin before organising his own parties in Hannover through the early 2000s, before moving back to start a residency at the renowned KaterHolzig haunt. Of all his club appearances, this might be his most significant – for two years he was given full reigns of booking and managing the Manege 8 Floor, which only increased his involvement in electronic music as a whole. After several years at KaterHolzig, his stripped-back sound has seen him spinning at some of Berlin’s key after hours spots – the oft-lauded Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse among them. Beyond Berlin though, he’s also propped ears throughout Europe, so it’s a treat eager to have him back in the capital again this Sunday.
