Manchester based club night Hit + Run’s modus-operandi is pretty self-explanatory considering that it’s an incredibly successful weekly dubstep and drum & bass night. Over their six year history they’ve supported numerous artists, hosting the first appearances in Manchester from a positive plethora of performers and DJs and it’s their continually on it outlook that led us to ask them down to first host Room Three a year or so back. Since then they’ve impressed us with their forward thinking policy, introducing a number of names to our lineups and sticking to that tradition they’re bringing the Manchester based producer, Kanjira, down with them this Friday. Revealing little more than the fact that his solo tunes and collaborations with fellow newcomer Wayfarer are getting support from people like Youngsta on Rinse FM, Kanjira’s promo mix ahead of the event outlines a stark and tribal dedication to classic sounding dubstep.
