Audio: Marcus Intalex - 21 Years: Part One

Having first started DJing at the tender age of 18, this is the 21st year Soul:ution label boss, Marcus Intalex has been making music, the main reason he decided to call his upcoming debut solo album, '21.' In his own words, when speaking to Kmag at the tail end of last year, "it's quite a milestone so I figured it would make an apt title and talking point. I have been making music solo for at least six or seven years now and I don't think there has ever been a time when I have enjoyed doing it as much as I am doing right now." In the run up to the album's April release Marcus has planned to release a series of mixes that define his 21 years in music with this, Part One, chronicalling some of the records that shaped him, and shaped the Drum & Bass sound, over the last two decades. Catch Marcus in Room One for Playaz on the 25th March and look out for word on the album launch in Room Two on 15th April.
