North Base is a collaborative project between DJ Silver, Wilf Prophecy, Sonic, Microcosm, Ikke B & MC Longman. Between them they boast previous releases on drum & bass labels like Metalheadz, Virus, Hospital and Renegade Hardware but their new 140bpm tempoed music and remixes for acts like Laidback Luke, Sander Van Doorn, Ms Dynamite and Labrinth has found favour with DJs like MistaJam and Mary Anne Hobbs with N-Type also scooping them up for a slated release on his Wheel & Deal label. Ahead of their slot in Room Two here on the 30th March at the Playaz Easter Special they submitted a mixtape for our blog to better introduce themselves and their music.
