Hailing from Munich in Germany he’s managed to combine his love for the dual forms making jungle tempoed music that impresses with a distinct soul and funk flavour, aiming to persuade lovers of disco and house that drum & bass music can have a pronounced depth and funk-tionality to it. Undoubtedly, that’s where a guy like LTJ Bukem connects with the work of the Soul Bros label co-owner, Rowpieces, with Bukem’s well-worn love of melody with drum & bass very much proven over the course of his career.
