Crate Diggin
Finnebassen's Current Favourites

Representing Oslo's flourishing fleet of producers alongside seminal home-grown talents like Todd Terje, Prins Thomas and Lindstrom, Norwegian native, Finnebassen, who we introduced to you back in April last year, is continuing to widen his catalogue of killer club cuts. Just lately he’s released ‘Baby’ on House Of Disco Records and ‘Monday’ on Sleazy Deep in 2013 before dropping the melancholic number ‘Milestone’ on Get Physical's off-shoot imprint Poesie Musik last year (not forgetting, of course, his infectious rework of Disclosure's 'January'). Simply put, he’s continuing to carve a name for himself across the circuit, landing the rising talent in even more solid rotation across dancefloors the world over.

Linking up with T.Williams, Tayo and Trancemicsoul in Room Two next weekend, Finn has fired over a few of his favourite picks to help get us aptly chilled and then toasted for the proceedings ahead.

Villanova (Fr) – 'AR2'

"This is currently one of my favourite tracks. It's a bit strange for some but I love the arrangement and the build up. I'm such a sucker for the vocal sample too!"

Ghost Culture - 'Mouth'

"A laid-back track with loads of cool Synth work and so much attitude"

BLANCAh- 'Ripple Effect'

"I can't even say exactly what this track is. Procuduced by a very promising new artist, she makes a point of using the LFO on the lead synths in a particular way. Very clever and very interesting"

Niles Frahm - 'Over There, It's Raining'

"One of my favourite pieces of music at the moment. Niles has inspired me to take piano lessons and learn to read music"

Diskjokke – 'Interpolation'

"Old but gold. It's My favourite Diskjokke track from Prins Thomas' label, Full Pupp. A homage to the Oslo guys!"
