Few artists could replicate the kind of ability and charisma that Debukas embodies. Described by none other than Bill Brewster as a “one man synth orchestra”, it’s John Clark’s tantalising and playful take on today’s house sonorities that attached Clark to the likes of 2020 Vision, where he released the definitive ‘Pleasure Patterns’ and ‘Reach Out Feel’ EPs. But it wasn’t until the release of ‘I Am Machinery’ on 2020 back in November where Debukas really debut his clear-cut and unique aesthetic.
