NEWSFLASH: REMEMBER To Raise Money For CALM On 05/03

It’s a shocking and sad but unavoidable fact that suicide is the biggest killer of men under 49 in the UK. Sadly it claimed the life one of James Harley’s closest friends and brought on a hardship that inspired him and a group of friends to establish REMEMBER, an organisation dedicated to helping raise awareness about male suicide through non-profit events that encourage wider discussion on the topic. On the 5th March REMEMBER will be transforming our EC1 space into a hub of music, art and food to raise awareness of suicide in a positive and engaging way with sounds on the night provided by Crazy P Soundystem, Richy Ahmed, Rob Mello, Alex Arnout and more. Bringing a new aesthetic to the floor, The West London Art Factory will be presenting an exhibition and selling art to raise funds while food will be provided by Street Feast the late night foodie institution. What’s more, there’s a hefty range of prizes up for grabs in the raffle from custom moulded ear plugs (essential for any regular club go-er), a month’s pass to hot yoga, tickets for We Are Festival and reams of music from Defected, MN2S and more. Tickets are available now with two purchase options:£40 // includes drinks & canapé reception, four drink tokens, a Street Feast Food voucher and entry into the raffle • £20 // covers entry with option to purchase your drinks, food and raffle tickets at your leisure. Both are available from Resident Advisor here. All profits raised at R E M E M B E R will be donated to The Campaign Against Living Miserably, or CALM, which is a registered charity (no. 1110621), existing to prevent male suicide in the UK.
