This Saturday, we’re amped to invite one of our favourite house music labels to EC1 as Running Back land in the building. Founded by Gerd Janson and Thorsten Scheu in 2002, Running Back became one of electronic music’s most distinguished imprints throughout the early 2000s, championing a mix of house and disco from acts like Todd Terje, Move D and Roman Flügel throughout their careers. Nowadays Janson leads the operation, and this weekend he’s invited some of the imprint’s key stars to join him in celebration of their 15-year anniversary.
In Room One, Janson is joined by KiNK bringing his explosive acid-powered live set, as well as Running Back staple Matthew Styles, while Room Two welcomes deep house master Henrik Schwarz for a live performance, alongside club banger wizard Radio Slave and singular producer Paul Woolford.
With this being such a landmark year and party for the whole label, for our next #fabricfollows takeover we decided to mark the occasion in celebration of Running Back’s history. Throughout this week you’ll find all of our Saturday guests appearing on our Instagram, joined by other key arms of Running Back including the graphic design and mastering team. Running Back will be appearing on our channel all this week – head over there now to follow them.
