On 20th January as part of the refreshed approach to Friday nights in EC1 we’re happy to welcome Hessle Audio visionary Pearson Sound back to Room One. As one third of one of the UK’s most forward-thinking imprints, Pearson Sound has been a key face in the current wave of UK talent expanding the boundaries of electronic music. Dynamic and always full of surprises, his sets encompass the vision of someone with years of dedication to the craft. Stepping up alongside him is one of the freshest talents from the Dutch school of techno, Delta Funktionen. With productions on the pioneering Delsin and his own Radio Matrix, more recently Delta Funktionen has been pushing his gritty electro techno sound in clubs around the globe. Also joining the bill is Conforce, the techno futurist and another of Delsin’s key signings. Room One finally welcomes one of the key artists on the singular Livity Sound label and a stalwart of the Bristol sound. With a fierce production palette and record collection, Hodge rounds off our bill.

Room Two is headed up by the Romanian techno producer and Berlin-based artist, Cosmin TRG. With releases spanning labels like Hessle Audio, Hemlock, Running Back, Rush Hour and 50Weapons, it’s TRG’s diverse approach to music that’s made him a gripping force on the dance floor and one of techno’s key artists. Stepping up alongside him, industrial techno master Samuel Kerridge throws his weight onto our Pioneer Pro Audio system with his unrelenting live set, while Cititrax affiliate and UK stalwart Oliver Ho’s recent breakthrough project Broken English Club completes the line-up.
