As a mainstay of Frankfurt’s groundbreaking Playhouse label and affiliate of Robert Johnson, Roman Flügel’s crossover productions have seen him pushing boundaries in experimental electronics for over 2 decades. Behind the decks, Flügel is also an unrivalled force playing selections defying genre or style. He is joined by another master of the craft with an encyclopaedic knowledge of electronic soundscapes, our own Craig Richards. The Room One bill is finally rounded off by L.I.E.S signing and hazy deep house master Nick Anthony Simoncino and the lyrical mysticism of Autarkic’s live show.
Over in Room Two, we await an unprecedented techno onslaught Drumcell returns to Farringdon. Dark and loop-based, Drumcell’s sound has been defined by its often unforgiving qualities. Room Two also sees Clockwork and Avatism joining heads for a joint performance as their recently lauded CW/A project. Finally, prized London champion of afterhours techno, Chris Stanford completes the bill.
