This June we await an evening of high-class techno as Steffi launches her fabric 94 album in Room One. Famed for her inspired selections and adept mixing skills, she regularly brings a toughened take on four four that’s come to define her residency at Berlin’s Panorama Bar. She’s also tipped for her work in the field of production, and her output on the definitive Ostgut Ton label has helped make her one of the Berlin powerhouse’s core artists. Stepping up to join her are a range of her closest contemporaries who also feature on her fabric 94 album. René Pawlowitz brings his singular techno sound to Room One as he plays as Head High. Known for his array of differing aliases, under his Head High banner Pawlowitz brings a distinctly refreshed take on the rave sound. While these are profiled on his releases on Power House, his Head High performances see him putting a modern twist on classic rave cuts. Also locked in are two of Steffi's closest collaborators as Ostgut Ton stalwart Virginia steps up, while Dexter finally rounds off the Room One bill.
Over in Room Three, we prep for the return of one of electronic music’s most forward-thinking artists as Ilian Tape’s Zenker Brothers return. For the last 10 years their label has been defined by its unique approach to techno, where heady atmospherics are blended with serene ambience and broken beats. We invite the Zenkers to bring this compelling sound to the club with a special appearance in Room Three. They’re joined by Voiski, the French producer and recent breakthrough. With releases spanning across respected labels L.I.E.S., Delsin and Dekmantel’s UFO series, he joins us for a special live performance. The bill is finally rounded off with Terry Francis bringing his familiar blend of punchy selections.
