This December we’re bringing one of the club’s regulars back to Room One as Maya Jane Coles returns. By now one of the UK’s best-loved names in electronic music, Coles has recently expanded the breadth of her musical scope via her excellent album from earlier this year, ‘Take Flight’. The main avenue for her song writing has been her imprint I/AM/ME, but it’s in being an on point selector that Coles is best known for. She also has a long history with us – as well as her frequent appearances over the years, she also put out a stellar edition to our mix series in fabric 75. She’s joined in Room One by Kim Ann Foxman, the acid tinged house expert, I/AM/ME producer and close friend of Coles. Rounding off the bill is our resident Terry Francis lining up his crates of punchy house and techno cuts.
Over in Room Two, we’re prepping for a heads down techno session with some of the sound’s most forward thinking talents today. Grounded Theory boss and Berghain regular Henning Baer makes his return following the release of his debut album, ‘Shatterproof’. A mainstay of the fabled Berlin club with recent notable EPs for the likes of Nonplus and Fuse Music, Baer as a producer and DJ remains one of the genre’s most distinct voices. Anthony Linell aka Abdulla Rashim also returns following his performance at our 18th birthday weekend, this time bringing his live set to our Pioneer Pro Audio system. Rounding off the bill is the individual behind integral London party Neighbourhood and label of the same name, Tasha.
