Jon Hopkins curates Room One. The pioneering electronic producer returns for a DJ set following the release of this year's 'Singularity' LP, joined by some of his favourite musicians. Debuting with us with a live performance is Nathan Fake. One of the UK’s best-loved electronic musicians, Fake’s experimentalist touch on techno can be found on the likes of Ninja Tune and Border Community. Also billed is HAAi, the rising Australian selector who found success as part of London’s electronic scene. A one-time resident of South London’s Phonox, HAAi has since brought her eclectic sound to clubs across Europe. Also set to make her debut with us is Kelly Lee Owens, whose leftfield techno records have brought her global acclaim in recent years. Hopkins and his guests take control of Room One for the entire night.
In Room Two, we’re honoured to welcome DJ Nobu for his Farringdon debut. Widely heralded as one of Japan’s finest selectors, Nobu brings his highly technical four four sound alongside a selection of handpicked guests. Joining Nobu for his first Curates session with us is hypnotic master Marco Shuttle, whose experimental and ambient compositions have found a home on the acclaimed Spazio Disponibile label. Jay Clarke also makes a return to his regular Room Two home to round off the bill.
