Raresh returns to Room One. By now the Romanian artist is well-established within our Farringdon walls and beyond – as one of the three co-founders of the enigmatic [a:rpia:r] imprint, Raresh has helped spearhead one of today’s most vibrant electronic music movements. As part of the lauded trio he’s become synonymous with a stripped-back, loopy style of minimal, inspiring a whole wave of producers in Romania’s underground circuit. As a DJ, Raresh is the funk chief of [a:rpia:r], as comfortable dropping a forgotten house classic as he is a celestial white label straight out of Bucharest. This July, he makes his first solo appearance with us in over three years. Joining him in Room One is John Dimas, the rising producer with a penchant for trippy techno, compressed breaks and bleepy electro. Our resident Bobby. brings his own twisted house cuts to round off a night of organic sounds that should be perfectly suited to Room One’s Martin Audio rig.
