We celebrate the 15th anniversary of one of the UK’s leading drum & bass labels, Shogun Audio. The much-loved imprint has carved its own sound identity since forming in 2004, championing a deeper, esoteric style of D&B alongside dancefloor-charged club music at 170BPM. We’ve long admired the label’s work within the drum & bass scene at FABRICLIVE, and for their overdue return to our space, a host of the crew’s key players land. Leading the proceedings are Spectrasoul, the UK duo behind some of the most boundary-pushing drum & bass cuts of the last decade. The pair’s sleek approach to production has always aligned with the Shogun camp’s signature sound, and over the years they’ve become one of the label’s staples. They’re joined by Breakage, the Digital Soundboy and Index chief best known for his fierce, dub-heavy twist on classic jungle. Shogun stars Technimatic bring a serving of dancefloor heat, while Icicle reps the full range of bass frequencies from 140BPM dubstep through to full-on 170BPM breaks. Having passed through Room Three with the Soulvent family earlier on this year, Pola & Bryson prepare to debut in Room One, plus Ed:it and GLXY round things off. AD, LowQui and Visionobi finally join the proceedings to hold down mic duties.

In Room Two, it’s a neurofunk assault hosted by the sound’s most definitive imprint: Neosignal. Phace & Misanthrop have been pushing their own dark style of drum & bass out of Hamburg since 2009, and to celebrate the last decade, they’re inviting a cast of their closest affiliates to descend on Room Two. In recent years Emperor has mastered his own heavyweight sound via both Critical and Neosignal, and he’s set to blitz our space with the same cutting approach. The Caracal Project and Subtension both join us for the first time, plus there’s a special guest set to touch down, details for which will be dropping in the coming weeks. LX One hosts what should be a night of fully-charged drum & bass energy marking Neosignal’s milestone year.

We toast to another 10-year anniversary in Room Three, as Intrigue Music helm the decks. The Bristolian imprint is one of the UK’s key outlets for forward-thinking drum & bass today, flying the flag for a funk-driven style of the genre since launching in 2008. Representing the team are DJ Patife, The Insiders, Roy Green & Protone, Lurch and Mosaic, while Collette Warren and MC Bluejay run the mic to round off another FABRICLIVE covering every strand of drum & bass music.
