Todd Edwards returns to Farringdon. It’s been five years since the UK garage pioneer last joined us, so we’re thrilled to welcome him back on a packed Forms bill. One of house and garage’s most widely acclaimed artists, Edwards is one of the sound’s truly singular voices, known best for his distinctive style of sampling vocal snippets. It’s an approach that can be heard through his extensive back catalogue, and one that underpins his unique DJ style. Joining him in Room One is Riva Starr. The Italian producer is a master of his own tribalist tech house sound. His work has appeared on a string of respected labels including Hot Creations, Relief, and his own Snatch! Records, and in his DJ sets, he displays a love of bass-heavy, dancefloor-driven four to the floor. Rounding off the bill for her Forms debut is a London selector on the rise, ABODE talent Ellie Cocks.
In Room Three, the Buena Vida crew take over. The London party has quickly built a devoted following in recent years, championing a fearlessly modern strain of house. For their first Farringdon session, we hand over the reins to all of the night’s key players: Francis, Madz, Joe Ellis, and Max Dean.
