Romare makes his Farringdon debut. The London artist has quickly become one of house’s most distinct voices, renowned for his leftfield take on deep house, downtempo and future jazz. In 2012 he arrived on the scene with his killer ‘Meditations On Afrocentrism’ EP via Black Acre, but in recent years, he’s become a mainstay of one of the UK’s foremost electronic music labels, Ninja Tune. Though he’s famous for his captivating live performances, he’s also an excellent DJ, sewing together the various genres that form his sound, with four-to-the-floor house as the common thread. When he joins us, he prepares to soundtrack the night by digging into his bag. Joining him are Session Victim, the German duo best known for their modern twist on deep house. Over the years they’ve released a string of shiny house cuts through the London label Delusions of Grandeur, which they frequently showcase during their live performances. The bill is rounded off by a rising producer who’s recently made her mark in clubs across London and beyond, TSHA.
