DJ Tennis returns to Farringdon. The Italian artist has sculpted a style of deep house that’s totally his own. Through his work for labels like Life And Death and Running Back, he’s mastered a refined, modernist take on the sound, one that’s as geared towards the mind as it is the dancefloor. He played a blinder with us as part of our 20th birthday celebrations, so we’re stoked to have him back in the Room One booth. Krystal Klear joins him. Taking influence from the vintage US house sounds of the late 80s and early 90s, the Irish-born artist makes dancefloor-primed house and disco with a euphoric spirit, something that can be heard on his productions for Running Back and his own Cold Tonic label. Rounding off the bill, we also welcome our resident Anna Wall. Wall has shown us she’s at home in Room One whoever she shares the bill with, and this should be a chance to hear her championing one of the sounds she thrives in: pristine, deep-as-it-gets house and techno.
