Joseph Capriati celebrates 10 years of playing in Farringdon. The Napoli DJ made his debut with us on the warm-up slot in Room Two back in June 2011, and since then he’s become one of the world’s biggest techno artists. He’s remained close to us over the course of his journey, in recent years through his regular all night long performances in Room One. In these marathon sessions, Capriati digs deep into his crates of polished and groove-driven techno, which he presents with his signature energetic flair. For his anniversary date with us, he’s set to guide the night once again from start to finish.
Hodge launches ‘Shadows In Blue’ in Room Two. Dropping on our sister label Houndstooth, the Bristol artist’s debut LP explores a deep, psychedelic side to his rhythmic bass sound. It’s an evolution of the floor-driven style he honed at labels like Punch Drunk, Livity Sound and Hemlock, drawing as much inspiration from the natural world as his formative clubbing experiences. Tougher territory will no doubt be covered by Randomer, who’s recently shown his aptitude for high-intensity, hard and fast rave fare through his label Headstrong. CCL finally rounds off the bill. The London-born selector started their career at the heart of Seattle's underground scene, but in recent years their love of entwining and reinterpreting usually divergent genres has found them acclaim among the wider electronic music community. This April, they showcase their all-embracing sound in our space for the first time.
