The mastermind behind Pressplay’s all-conquering 'Plugged In' online freestyle series brings his raw, uncompromising sound to the Room 1 stage on the new May Bank Holiday Weekend.

This is a rare chance to witness the renowned UK audio engineer and rapper in the stripped-back surrounds of Room 1 as Fumez The Engineer brings the show to fabric for the first time.

By carving out his own path under his own conditions through the series, Fumez has established a distinct niche for himself becoming one of the most sought-after names in the British rap scene. Born out of lockdown, Fumez conceived the freestyle series that he distinguishes from its competitors with his "quality control" standards that platforms both established and emerging talent. The birth of “Plugged In” has attracted some of the most unfiltered talents in the music scene, including Skepta, Zone 2, AB, Yanko and Irish collective A92 (whose freestyle made it to the Top 40). Plugged In has since amassed over 100 million views on YouTube and continues to flourish.
