We’ve been privileged to stand beside Ben UFO and take witness as his reputation has grown and strengthened over the last five years. He's one of the only DJ’s to prove their worth purely on the back of DJing, and with an open take on genre he's brought a perceived change to Farringdon, blending between disco cuts, acid house and big ass garage bass lines. Alongside his Hessle peers, he's moved far beyond the ‘dubstep’ tag of their early years, and this move, naturally, is reflected in where you’ll see Ben on our bills – for this year’s birthday he’ll be joining us for the fabric part of our celebrations, for his first birthday with us in our combined history. Here’s what Ben has to say of the occasion himself... "It's the first fabric birthday that I've been asked to play, and I'm really happy to have been asked. There seems to be more commonality than ever between the kinds of acts that get the opportunity to play at the club on Fridays and on Saturdays, and I'm excited to be a part of that dialogue.
