Feed Your Stereo: Terrence Parker Mix Show

Terrence Parker has engulfed the world in his Gospel House movement since the 1980’s. As an inspirational pioneer of all the sound embodies, it's hard to understand the blueprint of house music without checking out this soul man from Detroit first. Ingrained deep in the cities great musical heritage – Parker is ranked next to Detroit hometown artist ambassadors like Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson and Carl Craig. Since 1988 he's gone on to release more than 100 recordings on various labels like his own Intangible Records, Simply Soul, Octave One's 430 West, Studio !K7 and more recently his digital label arm, Parker MusicWorks. He also spins house music slots regularly on a number of leading Detroit FM radio shows and plays special parties with huge-hearted atmospheres, all of which show a rare natural gift of masterfully bringing a house congregation together. So it gives us great pleasure to welcome TP to Room Three to preach his deeper dancefloor moments for the 'Bicep Presents' takeover next Saturday night. We’ve been regular followers of his website Terrence Parker Music over the years and most notably, his free-form mix shows featuring new music, classics, technical scratches and plenty of good soul in between. Ahead of Saturday, we strongly recommend you get down to the amazing energy of his latest Terrence Parker Mix Show 123 Summer Blast 2012 and let the spirit of house speak for itself. On Saturday, 7th July Terrence Parker and Bicep takeover Room Three, with Craig Richards, Petre Inspirescu (Pedro) and Cobblestone Jazz live in Room One and Leftroom in Room Two.
