NEWSFLASH: fabric On & On Energy Drink Launch

Over time we've thought long and hard about diversifying the products we offer you. We've never been an outfit that brands anything, bar perhaps our annual gifts around our venue's birthday, but since launching our extended hours 'On & On' parties last year we found that staff and attendees alike were aching for a vehicle to help them stay up and lucid for longer, given their lack of rest. "We've been kicking around the idea for a while, but with the recession and whatnot it just wasn't a financial possibility until this year," fabric co-founder Cameron Leslie says. "With the popularity of energy drinks and the length of time punters like to stay at it these days, I think it's a fairly natural progression. I also like the idea of providing a healthy, legal way to keep yourself going." In terms of ingredients, On & On - the drink named directly after those clock difying benchmark sessions - shares a lot in common with energy drinks like Red Bull and Rock Star: taurine, caffeine, ginseng and other herbs, plus generous doses of Vitamin B12 (known to prevent those brutal hangovers). But unlike those brands, On & On's sugar content is minimal, a factor which help diminish that tell tale lull or those awkward taurine shakes once the perks have subsided. We've tried it routinely for the past month or so and our office and venue staff will vouch for it's energetic properties and lightly sparkling. fruity taste. We'll be selling our first cans over our bars from late May and we plan on having nationwide distribution ready for early September so you can get ready to go, On & On (& On) this summer.
