Audio: Adam Shelton & Subb-an Present the Sound of One Records

One of the biggest privileges we enjoy as a club is having the chance to host regular takeovers from electronic music’s most definitive labels, and among our favourite showcases has always been One Records. Since their first joint appearance with us in 2011, founders Adam Shelton and Subb-an have regularly brought the heat to rooms Two and Three of our space, laying down their own style of on-point deep house alongside some of the imprint’s key artists. Founded in Birmingham in 2009, One Records is now synonymous with a distinct style of UK deep house, welcoming artists like Nail and John Dimas alongside the two founders. Before the pair explore the depths of their collections at the opening of our All Night Long series this Saturday, they delivered us a selection of high-class house tunes to build our anticipation. Introducing the mix, they told us:
