Audio: Ant TC1 introduces three key faces from his Dispatch roster

Dispatch Recordings is one of drum & bass’ most individual labels. For almost two decades, Ant TC1 and his crew have spearheaded a singular strain of modern liquid funk with a gritty edge, nurturing scene heroes like Break, Survival and Zero T. The imprint’s shone a light on a number of newer artists long before they broke out over the years, and when they take over Room One this Friday, we’ll be welcoming a number of the roster’s fresher faces alongside their longstanding mainstays. In preparation for bringing his camp to the space, Ant TC1 took the opportunity to introduce Black Barrel, Philth and Rizzle, with an explanation of what it means for him to host Room One for the first time. “From a personal perspective, I’m ecstatic to be able to bring my label to fabric’s Room One for the first time. The label has featured across both Room Two and Room Three a number of times over the last decade, but Room One is obviously a major thing for us all. Thanks for having the belief and granting us the opportunity, it’s a big thing for us and I know everyone playing is as buzzing as I am.
