An early starter in reaching for high profile gigs, Derëk found himself making his debut at premier Ibiza club DC10 at just seventeen years of age. He's yet another talent to emerge from Romania's integral minimal scene and so far his releases on Hourglass LTD and Parang have garnered the support of the likes of Rhadoo & Raresh, possibly the best endorsement a rising artist from the Romanian scene can hope for. He's also behind VHS Records an outlet to give focus to other talents to emerge from his native Romanian shores as well as a platform for his own productions with a decidedly analogue tone, a further expression of the sound that has shaped his DJ sets to date. On 5th June he is set to join fellow guest Carlos Ryan and residents Peter Pixel and Jacob Husley for that Sunday's WetYourSelf! session and to introduce us better to his low slung and off-kilter aesthetic he has also recorded an exclusive mix ahead of the party.
