Audio: Hear Haydn Showcasing the Sound of FA>lE Records

Haydn Morgan broke through in house and techno through nothing other than hard graft: in 2001 he started playing as a resident DJ near his hometown of Bangor, until some years later he was also running 3 respected record labels. The best-known of these is almost certainly FA>lE Records, whose minimal techno sound has been favoured by Romanian stalwarts like Rhadoo. Then there’s also Curtea Veche and DreamsAreNotInside, on which he’s signed a string of typically minimalist artists from the same corner of Eastern Europe. As well as his Wales residency Morgan has appeared at northern institutions mumu and Louche, while he’s also a regular with us on Sunday nights at WetYourSelf!
