There aren’t many DJs who’ve made a mark on Farringdon history quite like Jacob Husley and Peter Pixzel. For more than a decade, the pair held down a weekly Sunday night residency with us as the hosts of WetYourSelf!, the decadent Sunday night session they’ve been running in the capital since 2007. Back then they were just starting to get a taste of London’s nightlife scene in partnership with Cormac, stretching every weekend into Monday morning through their weekly parties in Shoreditch. They would soon become part of our story with their own Farringdon showcases, inviting a diverse mix of trusted locals and internationally-renowned heavy hitters to help them close out the weekend. Over the years they’ve brought WetYourSelf! across the world and shared the decks with some of house and techno’s A-league stars, but the party’s core sound has always been defined by its residents. Husley and Pixzel recently linked up for an exclusive mix session for us, entirely comprised of cuts from their label’s vinyl only arm, WetYourSelf! Limited. Recorded ahead of the pair’s all night long set as part of our 20th birthday celebrations this coming Sunday, it captures the kind of loose playing style that’s perfectly suited to the weekend’s final moments.
