Audio: Mark System shows his flair for frenetic beat programming

This has by no means been the first time Mark System has put together a promo for us. Back in 2015, he released his debut album Final Approach on Exit Records – a triumphant 11 track expression of the forensically fierce sonics that underpin his production aesthetic. The release was celebrated here to its fullest – as well as hosting the launch in the disco we also published a series of blog pieces exploring his production process, sound and how much his dedication to the craft aligns with the label he found his home on. The next notable release in his calendar is set to drop imminently on Soul in Motion and as he prepares to return to Room Two we feel honoured again to be marking another one of his records in Farringdon. Of course we jumped at inviting another mix from someone we feel is one of the most on point drum ‘n’ bass producers active today and invited System to put together a follow up mix for us. Here he has put together an hour long lesson in his dynamic production and frenetic beat programming which shine strongest in his new dubs.
