In the space of a few years, Little Gay Brother has become the go-to spot for London’s community of LGBTQ clubbers. While the self-dubbed ‘queer rave’ has undoubtedly reached this position thanks to its famously exotic dance performances and inclusive door policy, another of its most popular hallmarks is the music the brand has championed since its early beginnings.
Verity Mayes and Bryony Masters provide the soundtrack at every one of Little Gay Brother’s parties, primarily playing a style of up-tempo house music built on groove. It’s a sound that’s landed the pair big international gigs for mammoth brands like Solid Grooves and ANTS, but when they’re in the capital, their home is Little Gay Brother. Ahead of gracing Room One at the crew’s upcoming Sunday daytime session on 16th December, the duo sent us a mix displaying the wild spirit that’s fuelled the party’s ongoing success.
